ZOE POLYCHRONOPOULOU M.D, PHYSICIAN

She is a Medical Doctor, graduate of the Medical School of Athens University. She specialized in Homeopathic Medicine at the Medical Institute for Homeopathic Research and Application in Athens and did further studies at London. He has been practicing Medicine for 20 years.
She worked at the Mayday General Hospital in London (departments of Sur-gery, ENT, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Emergencies) and held a private practice as a homeopathic doctor at Kensington High Str and Cavendish Sq, from 1987 to 1990.
She has received special training in Biofeedback, Mora-therapy, HLB blood test.
She is member of the Administration Board of the Medical Institute for Ho-meopathic Research and Application-MIHRA, member of Medicina Alternativa, member of the British Holistic Medical Association and registered with the General Medical Council of UK.
She is founding member of the Pan-hellenic Medical Homeopathic Associa-tion-PMHA and sits upon the Auditing Committee as chairman and the Re-search Committee as secretary.
Along with her colleagues in the aforesaid institutions, she has conducted 26 scientific researches and clinical studies, which have been announced at international and pan-hellenic medical congresses, on the effect of homeopathic treatment on several health problems as bronchial asthma and chronic asthma in children, high cholesterol levels, infertility, hypertension, recurrent cystitis, muscle-skeletal diseases, HPV infection, ulcerative colitis, spastic colitis, cancer in urinary bladder, pancreas, and so on. Besides that she has presented at medical conferences, scientific research papers and clinical studies, conducted by the medical team of the Hellenic Biofeedback Center, on the contribution of biofeedback in the pain control in patients suffering from chronic muscle pain, in the management of hypertension and of psychosomatic ailments.
She has presented significant teaching work, instructing doctors, dentists, pharmacists and veterinarians on homeopathic medicine, at courses organized within the educational program of MIHRA and PMHA.
She works on biofeedback applications at the Hellenic Biofeedback Center and is an instructor of seminars on the control of stress, work related stress and stress in athletes, as well as on the management of stress consequences on health.
She has participated in scientific round-table discussions on the subjects of homeopathic medicine, biofeedback, dietetics, prevention and management of drug addiction, organized by and under the auspice of several municipalities of Greece in cooperation with MIHRA.
She has given informative lectures for the public in Greece and UK, radio and television interviews and is the author of numerous articles on health issues published at the press.
She is an amateur photographer and singer.
She publishes the medical magazine OMIOTYPOS.
